Where Am I?

My Expat-terns

65. Czech people tell you how it is, no little, no more.
53. Of course, never forget to embrace uncertainty and the spontaneity of travel: the thrill of adventure.
104. Vancouver has a bed bug problem. Trust me.
105. As a friend once said, rap, everywhere but the US it seems, tends to be protest.
27. You will get sick when you travel. It is not the end of the world. Just rest. Marrakech, Tokyo, and/or possibly Milwaukee will still exist after you recover.
89. No matter where you are or where you all come from, talk to your roommates/suite-mates/partners about what bothers you. Do not let any situation between you all get out of hand.
80. I always cry when I end a long journey. I think it is healthy.
78. When traveling, it’s always interesting to learn the rivalries and grudges that some nations still have for each other even if it’s a little passé nowadays to have or acknowledge them.
45. Gaining certain alliances and supporting foreign nations demonstrates great levels of acceptance and fraternity on your behalf, but not everything you pick from other countries is always beneficial or politically correct. For example after living in Chile, I cannot stand the Argentine accent. The rivalry has been ingrained!
1. While at the Dongdaemun Night Market (Seoul, South Korea), trust your gut or face gastric consequences.

Try mantou, kebab, palaw, and saffron tea, portions perfect for sharing!

Service is impeccable and kind, with a perhaps overly organized reservation system xoxo
