Where Am I?

My Expat-terns

108. When some random person asks you question about ‘which country you are in’ while visiting Israel, the right answer is ending the conversation (tip from an Israeli-Canadian friend).
81. You know what’s cooler than playing a guitar in a hostel? Not playing a guitar in a hostel.
9. Sushi joints are not one of those things that you should just stumble upon.

106. Israelis love to haggle. So, haggle away. They also like getting in your way when you are walking somewhere.
2. Avoid saying you’re American while trying to bargain abroad. It may be harder to get a good deal.
61. I hear you should always let the Irishman have the last word.
121. Using a little Mexican slang will get you a long way, wey.

49. Put sense of place above all else.
